Shalom everyone! The following is a presentation by Yehu/Êʋêo Gamesu on the origins and traditions of our ancestors and current blood relatives, the Erverh (Hebrew) people of Ghana, Togo, Benin and Southwestern Nigeria. From these territories, the Erverhs were captured, enslaved and taken to the Americas for life of forced labor, servitude and extreme abuse. The Erverhs are also linked by blood to the Ga-Dangme and Yoruba peoples. All these peoples originated in the Land of Canaan, also known as the Land of Israel. We are the descendants of both the ancient Hebrews, specifically Hebrews from the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. On the coast of West Africa, we can find the “Kingdom of Juda,” founded by descendants of the exiles from Judah after the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians.
In spite of many centuries of exile from the Land of Israel, the Erverhs never lost the pronunciation of the Name of the Creator of the Universe, while converts to the Hebrew religion are still unsure of how the Name is pronounced. YAH‘s people, the “Êʋê” (pronounced “Erverh”), are named after Him:
“If My people, upon whom My name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land,” ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14
This message seeks to bring to light the truth, origins and traditions of a people left in the dark; The Erhverh people of Ghana, Togo, Benin and Southwestern Nigeria. They are known to the world by the corrupted name “EWE”. They together with the Ga-Dangme and Yoruba entity have a long traditional origin that stems from Kanaan. They are linked by blood.
Thus, the majority of the Haitian people descend from this very same bloodline and origin.
