Shalom everyone! The following is a link to a video commentary by renown educator Rabbi Akwetey Amaah of the Kingdom of Kings Academy called “Êυêo Gamesu Pre Exilic Israel.” “Êυêo Gamesu” means “A Call to the Hebrews.” This video is part of a series of lectures on Eveo (Erverh/Hebrew) history. Rabbi Akwetey explains why the pre-Exilic culture of the Erverh people is the measuring stick for Torah culture, and not more recent interpretations which developed after the Babylonian Exile. It is the pre-Exilic standard that was observed prior to our culture being unduly influenced by foreign powers such as the Assyrians and Babylonians. Rabbi Akwetey explains how those who went into captivity were forced to adopt the names, language, writing script and culture of their slave masters/enemies. Please note that Torah scrolls read in synagogues today are written in the Aramaic script and language, the language and script of Babylon, not the original Hebrew.
Over time, those who went into captivity forgot the original Hebrew names, original Hebrew language, original Hebrew writing script and original Hebrew culture in favor of the names, language, writing script and culture of their slave masters/enemies. Any Torah culture that developed by the Erverh who were taken into exile has been influenced by foreign powers and is not the original culture. This is not the case, however, for those Erverhs who fled into Africa to escape captivity. Their culture, the original culture, was preserved, and is still being practiced today.
